I normally don’t write review’s for products, but the tile is too fantastic not to yell it from the roof tops! I am always losing my keys or my phone and with the tile it makes it so easy to find my keys in a flash or find my phone! All you have to do is attach it to your keys and you’re all set!When you misplace your keys, you go into the app on your phone (which is super user friendly) and tap, find my keys. It then rings your tile that is attached to your keys and if they are not in an area where they can ring, it shows you the location of the tile, which is also very helpful!If you misplace your phone, you can double tap the middle button on the tile and it will ring your phone!It is such an amazing product and I am thinking about attaching them to everything in my house!! (I am such a scatter brain!)
Summery –
I have purchased Tile Mates twice previously, but this was my first experience with Slims.I use Tile Mates in a number of places including, but not limited to,*kids’ backpacks & activity bags (dance, sports, scouts, etc.)*my purse and other bags*my laptop bag*suitcases*keysI started using these new Tile Slims for my wallet and laptop bag. The Slim has the exact dimensions of a credit card, but is ~2x thicker. The edges are beveled, so it can slide into tight spots. I have a streamlined wallet especially designed to be thin and was pleased to find that the Tile Slim hardly added any bulk. (I used it in a different pocket, but it fits perfectly into a card holder. I had previously used a Tile Mate in my laptop bag, but like the option of slotting the Slim into a card slot instead so that the Tile isn’t floating around.I most frequently ring the Tiles when I am looking for my kids’ backpacks. I was surprised to find how much I liked the Slim and definitely plan to order more in the future!

I got the 4 pack. I am not tech saavy whatsoever and this was a breeze to connect to my phone!! I use one for my keys, purse, the phone itself and saved one as a spare. This is a great time saver to avoid wasting time looking for items when it’s time to go. Even when you’re very organized, it doesn’t take much to leave an item in your “other purse” if you change bags frequently. Or something small dropping always to the bottom! Keys falling down between the seats. If you live alone or no one is around to dial your number to help you find your phone, this is the answer. We’ve all had that at some point I’m sure. You can’t call your phone either if the battery is dead. This is it folks! I need to get one for that ever disappearing TV remote. I wish there was one for eye glasses too.
Acoustic Crazy –
The product works with these minor exceptions. 1) I cannot change the ringtone because my phone cannot find my TileMate although they are right next to each other. It is saying it cannot connect. 2) When using the “Find Keys” option, as soon as my phone is within a few feet of my keys, the Tile Mate stops ringing. This does not help if my keys are buried somewhere. So I would have to leave my phone in another room for it to keep ringing. Same thing goes for the “Find my phone” option. As soon as my Tile Mate on my keys gets close to my phone, my phone will stop ringing. I wish the ringing would continue until we manually deactivated it by pressing the “Found it” on the phone or “Tile” button on the Tile Mate.

I had purchased new hearing aids for my mother – she had already lost two pair. This time, I purchased a binaural otic clip and attached a single tile mate to the portion that attached to her blouse. Sure enough…her hearing aids went missing again. Turned on the tile app and…it found the hearing aids without a hitch! Am so thrilled. Since my mother has dementia and lives in a memory care unit, her hearing aids are incredibly important to her being able to interact and communicate with her care givers and other residents. The tile seemed a little large at first and did have to be attached to the portion of the clip that fastened to the back of her blouse (Mom had already figured how to get it off when attached near the hearing aid). Once attached at the back, behind my mom’s head, she didn’t notice it and…when the time came…the tile saved the day. Am extremely happy with how the tile works! I purchased a four-pack and only needed one, so am now thinking about all the other ways I can use the remaining tiles. Excellent price for what it delivers! I don’t lose things THAT often, but when I do, I’m glad I have my tiles! I’ve lose my wallet once while traveling, and was able to find it quickly before it got swiped up. I’ve misplaced my keys a few times and Tile is always to the rescue. And perhaps the best part is that it’ll quickly help me find my phone so I don’t have to go to a computer and find it. I have them on my keys, in my wallet, on all of my remote controls, and my wife has them all over! Love my tiles!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. He is notorious for driving me nuts on our way out the door, searching for his wallet and keys. So I got him the Tile shaped like a credit card for his wallet and he dutifully put the tab on his keys. It had already come in handy a couple of times. Then, two weeks after I gave this to him, we went on a trip from San Diego to Las Vegas. We stopped to get lunch halfway through our 6 hour trip. When we got to Vegas, my husband reached for his wallet to give a few bucks to a homeless person outside our car, and he couldn’t find it. “No problem,” he says. “I’ll just trigger the Tile when we get to the hotel.” When we arrived and he triggered it… we didn’t hear it ring, and he looks at the app and it says that it’s out of range. He then used the location and found that he had left it in the bathroom at the restaurant at lunch… hundreds of miles away.We called the restaurant to ask if it was there. They said they didn’t have it. My husband looked hard and figured out based on the location that it was in the bathroom. We called back, told them we had the Tile in the wallet and that it was in the bathroom, and, miraculously, someone found it. We were able to retrieve his wallet with everything still in it on our way home a few days later!!!I keep imagining the other scenario, in which I had NOT bought him the Tile for Christmas. We might still be tearing apart our car and yelling at each other in frustration despair. We are going on another trip next week that we would have had to cancel because he wouldn’t be able to use his tickets without an ID. We would have had to cancel and replace all of our cards. We would have been afraid our whole trip that someone was going to empty our bank account whilst we were in Las Vegas. It would have been a nightmare. I am SOOOOOOO GLAD we got the Tile!!!

I bought this with the purpose of putting it on my 8 year olds bike. We put it on a key ring and then putt it on the center handle bar. This way we can use it for a number of things. #1 we can use it to find his bike should it get stolen like his last bike did. And #2, the main reason we bought it, is that we can track where hes at and communicate with him without needing a phone. Its really great because I can page the tile and it will play its little chime and my kid knows that means he needs to come home/to us and also he can double tap the tile to page my phone and my phone will ring and I can know he is in trouble/needs help. I can also use it to find him obviously if i havent seen him in a while and i cant find him because he has wondered off past his boundaries which i actually had to do once!I kinda want to get one for all the important things i own

I have more than 8 Tile devices, Slims for wallets, several Mate models like these for keys and my work ID badge. I also own one Pro model that is attached to the keys that started all this. The Pro model has longer range, 400ft versus 200ft for the Mate and the Pro model has a louder noise maker.The Pro and Mate models have one year replaceable batteries while the Slim model has a 3 year non-replaceable battery. But with the Slim model you will get a discount when they need replacement.My initial purchase was initiated by losing my main set of keys, house and car, outside. Replacing the car key was going to cost $400 since it is a fob you slip into the dash and not a conventional key at all. I turned out the keys were covered by a small cluster of leaves and lucky for me on a windy day they got uncovered. Once found I was determined to minimize the chance of losing them again and bought my first Tile device. Having my key make noise on demand has helped me find my key a number of times.I have also bought the annual premium service which will tell you the last time the device was seen anyone’s Tile app and sends you annual battery replacements.The Tile devices have the ability to make your phone make noise even when in silent mode so you can locate your phone if you can find your keys. I have now put Tiles in my wife’s and my wallets, on our keyrings, even the spares, and with my ID badge for work. All the things that seem to get misplaced regularly.I wish they had something that was small enough and light enough for eyeglasses but that is not likely any time soon. 😒

This is a life saver for me because I constantly lose my iPhone at home. It’s almost always on silent so then I have to do “find my iPhone” and it gets complicated with 2 factor authentication etc. My husband got it for my birthday and I can’t be happier about it. I didn’t attach it to the phone because it’s too large for it. I keep it in a drawer and just push the button when I can’t find the phone. If the phone is too far away – can simply take the tile and walk around with it. It’s amazing! I used to walk around and yell at everyone to help me find my phone. Now even my family is happy 😝
